Sylwester / New Year’s Eve
Ponoć jak spędzi się Sylwestra, tak minie cały Nowy Rok. Jeśli to prawda, to rok 2008 będzie spokojny, miły, w naszym stylu, w rodzinnej atmosferze i domowych pieleszach :)
Kolejny raz zdecydowaliśmy się nie wybierać się na żadną imprezę, ale spędzić ostatnie chwile starego roku tylko we dwoje, w domu, z naszymi zwierzakami. Przygotowaliśmy pyszne jedzonko w dużych ilościach i trunki. Dharma była cały czas bardzo niespokojna, bo za oknami trwała prawdziwa kanonada. Krzysiek grał w „Wiedźmina„(którego sprezentowałam mu na urodziny), a ja robótkowałam sobie, grajac z nim :) Podjadaliśmy pyszności (m.in. bułeczki z niespodzianką i kisz ze szparagami), próbowaliśmy uspokoić Dharmę, a o północy wyszliśmy z szampanem na balkon i przyglądaliśmy się fajerwerkom (na ulicy było od nich aż jasno!).
Tuż po 1 poszliśmy spać – to dla nas strasznie późna pora :)
There is a rumor, that as New Year’s Eve is – as the whole New Year will be. If it’s truth, our 2008 year will be peaceful, nice, in our style, home- and familystyle.
Once more we decided not to go at any party, but to stay at home, only two of us, with our animals. We prepared delicious food and drinks. Dharma was fridgety and afraid of fireworks for all day. Krzysiek played „The Witcher” game (which I gave him at his birthday) I did my crafts and played game with him. We ate our delicious meals (for example rolls with surprises and quiche with asparagus), we tried to calm down Dharma (who was so irritated), and at midnight we went on balcony and watched fireworks (there was full of light of them on the street).
We went to sleep after 1 am – it was very late as for us.

Dopiero wczoraj zdałam sobie sprawę z tego, że nie pokazałam części kart zrobionych na challenge Emily, a także, że brakuje mi kilku by skompletować całość. Udało mi się nadrobić zaległości tak, żeby zdążyć na koniec :) To niesamowite, że już minął rok i że już koniec challengu. Emily zapowiada coś nowego – już nie mogę się doczekać! :) Tymczasem muszę pokazać wszystkie zaległe karty.

Yesterday I realised that I didn’t show all my cards for Emily’s challenge and that I haven’t done few of them, Fortunately I was able to catch up with it and I make it at the end of challenge! It’s ubelievable, that the whole year passed by and that it’s end of Emily’s challenge. She announced that she will prepare something for this year – I can’t wait to see! :) In a meantime I have to show all my cards.

Oczywiście, natura. Myślę o tym za każdym razem, gdy widzę kiełkujące nasiona i gdy liście uśpione przez zimę rozwijają się na wiosnę. Tak, natura ma wielką moc!

Nature, of course. I think about it every time I see seeds that sprout and new leaves which grow after the winter sleep.

„It’s me, Michelle. I have a dog, a cat, two guinea pigs and a dwarf rabbit. I love my city, Poznań, but I dream about living at the countryside. My passions are gardening, books (especially fantasy), photography, and all kinds of crafts: decoupage, scrapbooking, drawing, sewing, embroidery, crochet, felting and making jewellery (earrings mostly). I adore to make-over and renovate furniture. My spare time (which I always run out of) I adore to spend working in the gardenw ogrodzie or wandering with my dog at fields and meadows. I also moderate craft phorum and write my blog.”

To moje logo – Michelle & Co.: ) Wydrukowane w postaci naklejki, która umieszczam na ręcznie wykonanych przeze mnie przedmiotach. Sam rysunek powstał bardzo dawno temu, ale już wtedy była na nim Dharma :) A raczej – jej zapowiedź :)
The prompt was: a symbol you love. It’s my logo – Michelle & Co. :) This drawing I made many years ago, but Dharma was on it (or rather announcement of her being). Now I printed it as a sticker, which I sticked to my handmade products.

Mini art journal challenge – week 5
To jedna z kart które robiłam na „ostatni moment”, w ostatnim tygodniu challengu.
W temacie z 5 tygodnia mieliśmy użyć czegoś „ulotnego” , nietrwałego – biletu, wejściówki itd. Tak się zdarzyło, że właśnie w tym tygodniu wybrałam się do kina, co rzadko się zdarza. Tak więc bilet został od razu wykorzystany :) Film to „Złoty kompas”.
It is one of cards which I catch up in last week of challenge. In 5th week prompt was: use some ephemera of your week. I’d rather rarely go to cinema, but that week I was there, so I used my cinema ticket :) Journaling: Rather rarely go to the cinema, but I received vouchers for any movie, so I have to go! I liked the movie and I discovered, that this film is based on a book. I bought that book immediately, and I’m reading it now :)
By the way, this film is „Golden compass”.
